I Discovered An Abandoned House In France Filled With ‘Demonic’ Dolls (18 Pics)
Completely covered by vines and hidden away from the world sits an abandoned house in France that, to some people, could be considered their worst nightmare. Rooms are packed with unusual things, but most notably giant life-size dolls.
Each room was hidden behind a sheet or a hidden door that opened up to another room with more dolls. One room, in particular, had life-size dolls with handmade clothes all lined up eerily staring at you, while others hung from their necks pinned to the wall. Take a peek inside the demon doll house.

Share on Facebooknot demonic at all. Just sad. House has this feel that there was big loving family once with kids and loads of toys. A lot of beds, all neat. Neatly stacked plant/flower pots, now all dried. There must have been one last lonely person who kept everything in order, but then was gone...
Agreed. I felt sad (not "horrified" as the author intended) looking through the photos.
Load More Replies...Am I crazy for wanting to live there and fix it up? The dolls aren't super creepy-looking either.
yeeeess i want that house to be mine... imagine how cute it would be be if you cleaned it up, fixed up the walls, floor, ceiling, basically rebuilt the house and had furniture in a similar style it would be like really nice to live in. I don't have that much money thought.
Load More Replies...So sad, I don't feel creeped out at all looking at these pic. I just see a family who collected various collectibles, including dolls. I wonder what happened to the family? Did the children grow up and move out, leaving just the parents to live in this house? Was it perhaps just a woman left there, her husband having died? What stories can this house full of family collections tell I wonder? Now it is all left to gather dust and for nature to take it over.
I want to meet the family that lived here. It feels so loved and, well, lived-in. It has so much personality.
Looks like antique dolls in the pictures. They might be worth something. OP must have a thing against dolls.
Not creepy at all. As a doll collector, I would love to rescue those sad beauties. Some love, cleaning and washing clothes and they will shine once again.
Oh, those dolls were loved. Just look at the beautiful dresses, and some of them hand crocheted. Also did they just censor the titties in the tiny nude painting..
guys I have a civics project due tomorrow and I haven't even started it.what should I do (besides doing it)?
I found that weirdly beautiful. I'd love to live someplace like that, minus the dolls. I'm not creeped out by them, just kinda ambivalent, but they clutter up what's otherwise a nice space.
It's hard to imagine how all this could have just been left and not ransacked at some point. There's a lot of good stuff abandoned there. Somebody has to know something about what happened and why it has been sitting undisturbed for so long. Inquiring minds want to know!!
