I took a $1 wooden box from AC Moore and transformed it into a “gamblers” box – complete with cards, chips, and dice.

Outside
$1 wooden box stained a maple color, and black stripes painted all the way around the box.
Using a small drill bit, I drilled small divots in the corners, painted small beads gold, and glued them in the divots.
A money tree charm that I found was added.
“The Only Real Fool Is The Last Fool” was written on small wooden charms that were stained the same ($1 Walmart), as well as a small flat bracket that was painted gold.
Inside
The whole inside of the lid was painted black, along with adding another “Luck Visits But Never Sits” wooden plaque.
The bottom of the box is lined with black felt, and small wooden dividers were made from balsa wood painted black.
6 dice, black and white chips (under the paper/pencil), and a professional poker deck of cards were added. The pencil is a normal sized pencil painted black and cut down.
