A lot of these are really close to home for me. I'm on the spectrum and can understand very overt sarcasm, but often times I can't genuinely tell if that is the joke itself. (I've had it go the other way where it seems like I'm just laughing at someone's tragic situation and then realize it's not sarcasm.) It's tough being über literal sometimes.

I have a friend also on the spectrum who cannot understand a single social cue unless you say in the most literal way what you are feeling or trying to imply. But I also suck at doing just that. So I have no way to tell her that I don’t give a c**p about the dream smp
