Where did I imply that faith was a virtue? Faith helps many people decipher the truth and if some people have a problem with a believer's way of going about it, then they have a problem with those very people, not behind the facade of criticizing the faith. Also, when you said you could "literally" prove it's uselessness, what exactly do you intend on using to enhance its literal value?

why would you think faith is a virtue? Are you not interested in truth? I can literally prove that faith is useless when discovering truth. Why then, would you use faith?

It is seems to me that theists cannot prove the existence of God, especially that "He" is a white male with a long beard, and atheists cannot disprove God's existence. It leaves us only one realistic, safe option: agnosticism. I don't understand why are people afraid to admit that they don't know, especially what can't be known? And yes, who said that fairytales are just for children - every religious belief is a fairytale, isn't it?

You can't prove a negative. By your logic anyone can make any claim and just say well prove me wrong. I mean really, how would one disprove God?

Full Lame, why do you believe in the bible? Have you studied it at a college level? What about all of the thousands of the contradictions in this book? Why believe a book that contradicts itself so f*****g much? How about all of the scientific errors the bible describes? This book is just plain f*****g stupid and there are mountains of evidence that disprove its idiotic claims. What about all of the evil things that the god of bible has done? Even jesus said and did a lot of immoral things. Why worship an evil, warmongering, sacrifice wanting, blood thirsty, petty, tribalistic, vain, wrathful, jealous god? How can you prove your god is not evil? How can you prove your god is not a devil? How can you prove your god is not a trickster like Loki?

1. I'm not religious, but even I know that there's no way Hitler could logically end up in heaven. If what your uncle said was true, there is a major loophole in the system. 2. sorry this has been your experience. I never understood the OT before taking different bible studies with different denominations and with different groups of women from different faith backgrounds, even some non-Christians who Love Jesus and shared their passion for His Life and Love, and from Jewish Rabbis who love Jesus and His Example and Love, helped me SO MUCH where I was so confused by all the hate and meanness, and unwillingness of some Christians to Love. Helped me see some people are just blinded to His Life and Words, as He Himself shares again and again and again in the Gospel of John (NT), to the Pharisees and Sadducees- how they're true "father" is satan because they hate, plot to kill, lie, go against the very OT teachers and teachings they claim to uphold, etc..etc... And it's easy to spot those who truly love Jesus "because of their fruits"...see what they're words and actions are consistently producing- HOPE, LOVE? Forgiveness? Compassion? "Long-suffering" and pat

I think that you are thinking of the Old Testament, which is more of a historical text. The New Testament doesn't really have anything like that in it. (If it does, I'm. Not aware of it)

What about the evil things he did in the bible? He said that if you love anyone, even your own family members (your baby, your mother) more than god it is a horrible sin. That's emotional blackmail, abuse. There was a group of pigs that were supposedly possessed by demons. Instead of healing the pigs of the demons, jesus cast the pigs over a cliff and murdered them. Jesus and the bible say prayer works and prayer can actually move mountains. This is a blatant, testable, and stupid lie. This is not true. This gives false hope. Jesus said, "Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
