Q13. The map says otherwise. Australia spans the two lines of longitude which encompass Japan. Depending upon whether the ship is going to Eastern or Western Australia it will go Southeast or Southwest. The correct answer should be South.

Yes, it seemed to me that the answer to that one would depend on where in Australia the ship was going. I picked southeast out of a hazy idea that most of the major ports are on the eastern side of Australia.

    Q12. I'd rather risk $400 to make $1200 than spend $1200 to make $2100. Or if I can spend $1200, get the $400 & $800 machines that predict a profit totaling $2700!

That was my logic. That and the Japan question is why I didn't bother finishing the quiz and now I understand why US students don't seem educated.

I find smart is temporary. One can do smart things and know how to become knowledgeable. It doesn't mean they're smart with everything, nor all the time. Knowledge is learning, discovering and retaining information gathered by critical thinking, analysis and observation.

Also I took a flgiht from brisbane went direct up thru gympie to Japan. That is the route. idiots. Perth is so far down. Where are they dropping the cars? Dooes perth want cars? Nice. Rigged quiz. Clearly I should of got 27 bc clea rly theres more mistakes if there is a 1.

Google Overview says "From Tokyo, located in Japan, to Sydney, located on Australia's east coast, the general direction of travel is southwest." Since Sydney and Melbourne are the two biggest ports, and highest population metro centres, it would make sense that Japan export ship would be going to these cities. Howevever I dont get why the direction isnt South East or SSE but NOT SW. TOKYO 35.6764° N, 139.6500° E SYDNEY 33.8727° S, 151.2057° E "Longitude increases as you go east. From Grenwhich England. " So Sydney is MORE EASTERLY than Tokyo. DIRECTION SHOULD BE SE OR SSE

The width of Africa should also be offered in kilometers, for non-Americans who want to try it ;) And for me, Japan-Australia can go west or east, depending on where you start from in Japan and where you arrive in Australia.^^
