It’s always interesting to see artists creating anything inspired by pop culture, but Daniel “Retrogimmick” has taken this to a new level. He makes all sorts of action figures and while some of them may seem quite regular, others are hilariously unexpected. Some of them are not even what it says on the package!
"The idea came from me discovering the sort of underground culture of custom toys when I was much younger. It was something I tinkered with but didn’t devote a lot of time to. Then I discovered that people were making things like these and posting them on Instagram and other social media. I fell in love with it and decided to start making my own figures!” the creator told Bored Panda.
“I get inspired by anything I find to be entertaining, interesting, or funny. And the only important requirement is that it should not already exist as a toy and if I think that people who share my interest will enjoy it!”

I really would like some of the stuff that they were smoking when they made this.
Is the devil's right hand in his pocket? Also how does he have pockets?
No, his fist is clenched. It's hard to see because it blends in with his leg.
Load More Replies...It isn't truly christmas until Hans Gruber falls off Nakatomi plaza!
The correct order for Christmas viewing is "Love Actually" followed by "Die Hard" - so you see Alan Rickman punished for cheating on Emma Thompson.
Load More Replies...Back in the day; they missed the opportunity to team up with the home alone kid. Now that would have been a action packed buddy cop good guys VS bad guys Christmas movie to end all Christmas movies. 🤣
Am I the only one who thinks that the toy makers just took a figure of Marlon Brando's Jor-El with a red cape and a cross?
I was looking at these weird flesh hands and realized that gloves don't look good on camera
………….interesting outfit for villainous combat……….i have seen worse tho
Wow, ever have one of those moments when a forgotten childhood memory unlocks and an entire wealth of memories, feelings and nostalgia pops up? It's almost a little overwhelming for a second. I was a huge Punisher fan as a pre-teen. My late older brother loved Spiderman. It was a fun shared moment with him the day I found and shared this 2-3 book mini-story of Punisher getting mind jacked by "The Jacker" to kill Spiderman. I still have these books in a box somewhere--as well as my brother's old comics. 35 years later, and my brother has only been gone a couple years but what a fun little trip this toy just took me on. Anyway. Thanks for witnessing this moment. #griefprocessing
Wow. What a wonderful memory. Thank you for sharing! I have a modest collection of toys and memorabilia. When asked why I chose to collect these things I always say that they make me relive my childhood, they transport me to simpler times, and in many ways happier days. I can totally relate to your comment, a vintage toy or classic comic book can be magical.
Load More Replies...Glad I can still read old comics like this online. They were awesome for scaring the snot out of a kid - especially if you read them by flashlight under the covers before going to sleep. House of Mystery, House of Secrets, Ghosts,Tomb of Dracula, etc. Love them all.
he rides in upon his noble steed who just so happens to be non-exsistant so people jsut see a man walking into town with a saddle between his legs screaming "YEE HAW, slow down there fella' we don't wanna startle anyone eh?"
Load More Replies...With the price tags on the packaging, it doesn't seem like it's something he actually made...
I have the rafael of this. In pieces scattered around house. but still!!!
I thought this would be far more entertaining. There were only a few good ones in here.
