Portland, Maine-based illustrator and bird-lover Jada Fitch creates amazing little houses for her tiny bird friends. Filled with tasty treats and beautiful decor, Fitch attaches the houses to her windows at home so she could watch the little fellows from up close and capture photos and videos of them.
These tiny house luxuries aren’t up all day, though, as they’re neither squirrel nor waterproof. Fitch only leaves them up for a few hours a day and has the permanent bird feeders further in her backyard. Take a look at some of the creative little houses below!

Share on FacebookMy Great Uncle Jack built a bird house too. Of course it was also for children so it was half height and he lived there too. The birds could enter the house and fly wherever they liked. The photo is of my brother when he was 7 standing on the steps of the House that Jack Built! Jackbuilt-...21af9a.jpg
This is so awesome! Now the birds would be able to understand how it is like to live in a house.
Hey Bird Fans, By popular demand I started a Facebook page solely dedicated to my bird homes. My husband and I currently have a waterproof version in production. We should have a limited number available before the holidays. Please follow our page for updates. Thanks! ~Jada https://www.facebook.com/jadafitchbirdhomes
Mom and I were talking about this just yesterday; how to feed the birdies without the squirrels getting to it first and the cats getting to the baby birdies first. Would love to make something like this for mom so's she can get her bird-watch on; just need a way to keep the foxes out of the bird house. Any ideas?
