Yakaza is the ethno-futuristic cult(ure) of the metaverse. "The Kaftan" is the first conceptual creation.

In the state of Yakaza, we create digital cultural artifacts. The organic-geometric patterns and forms, designed with algorithmic morphogenesis processes that borrowed from nature itself, embroidered with digital craftsmanship. Not just a metaverse fashion house, Yakaza offers an ethno-futuristic atmosphere, a holistic ecosystem with all of its fine detailed elements. And "The Kaftan" is the first reflection of this vision.

The name "Kaftan"/"Qaftan" already has a meaning!! This is just like when Kim Kardashian picked "Kimono" as a brand. I can't believe not a single person on your team thought about googling it first. We have entire fashion shows dedicated to it in Morocco!!

Dear Tree Spirit, I understand your effort to protect your cultural heritage, and I respect it. But I would like to make an explanation to clear your prejudgement. "The Kaftan" here is not a name of a brand. It is the name of the project. There is nothing wrong since "kaftan" is a term for a specific cloth type, like trenchcoat or jeans. I am from Turkey, and the Ottoman culture also has its kaftan. You can google it too. So I am doing a futuristic revision to my own culture here. Kaftan doesn't just belong to Moroccans. So this is not the case of "western guy stealing eastern values irresponsibly" as it looks like this is your preconception. Also, the sewing patterns of those clothes are modified from a real kaftan form. Just chill :)

Don't you know that "Kaftan" (or "qaftan") is our traditional dress in Morocco? Why did you pick that name??? You should have googled it first!!!

Imagine it to wear like a pancho. In real life circumstances, you maybe wearing that on top of some clothes.

OK, understand the 'artsy' of the make-up. The apparel(?) appearance does appeal any more than discomfort for the model.

Hello. I now realized that the explanation above is not sufficient. Those looks (make-up + garment + atmosphere) are for your Avatar in a Metaverse environment. They are not specifically designed for the everyday comfort of physical life, since you are not limited with such things in digital environments. This is a futuristic vision. An ethno-futuristic vision. So you may observe them also as an art-form, next to being a functional design. But I want to add that, they are Kaftans, so their sewing pattern is pretty simple. They can also be produced in real life. And I am very sure they are very comfy, not disturbing at all. But may not be appropriate in daily city life. Best use in Burning Man :)
