I Illustrate How Superheroes Would Spend Their Time During The Quarantine (11 Pics)
My name is John Euclid Templonuevo and I am an artist and a Christian. Some may also know me as arkitekyuklid. Here are my latest series of how I imagine superheroes being under lockdown and do some stuff during the quarantine.
I always love to watch Adventure Time and Rick and Morty, so, my art style is basically a combination of the two cartoons. Also, Mr. Bean, the animated version. I used the hard-outline technique. In creating your own style, I believe the basic technique is to copy and improve. Later on, you will discover the art style that fits your personality.
Honestly, some of the Illustrations I created are basically my everyday experiences and my everyday thoughts. Just like a writer with a creative mind, you have this urgency to put these creative works into something that can be seen by everyone. It might be an ancient proverb that you want to illustrate or a bible event that you want others to see. There are moments in my life that might inspire anyone and it is very compelling to share those moments.
Also, some of the ideas I created are written in the bible and I just illustrate it. The more I share my ideas and emotions, the more I understand myself.
You Can Do It Thor
When it comes to my work, I want it to be relatable, encouraging, fun, and inspiring. I am an optimistic person and I want to spread this kind of attitude to everyone. I understand that not all people are optimistic like me, but lighting up someone's day will give me this sense of fulfillment that, 'Yes, I made someone smile today' and I believe everyone wants to inspire other people.
Though there are some negative comments with my work, I don't really mind them since the majority of my followers like what I do and I always focus on what's important.
One of the reasons I am doing this is to encourage a lot of people. The world right now is full of negativity, especially on social media. By encouraging other people, making them smile with my puns, or lighting up their day, I am giving them a sense of hope that regardless of the negativity, life is still beautiful. I also want to emphasize in my drawings/illustrations that sometimes, people, including me, experience life's ups and downs and it is wonderful to share it to everyone so that no one will feel alone in this world.
