Haley went to Gettysburg College, a small liberal arts school. She studied English with a writing concentration and competed on the swim team. And if you're wondering, yes, she did take a civil war course.
Over the years, Haley found that sitting down and focusing on drawing — like penning the curve of a circle or the corner of a square — helps her feel present and connected rather than high strung and worried. "It makes my brain feel less like a livewire and more like a spark," she told Articles of Antiquity.
"I've always loved doodling. When I first started my art account, my goal was to draw regularly while making art that connected with people. I think my style has transformed over the years, but still feels rooted in that original goal."

Speaking to The Charlotte Observer, the artist said her work receives mind-blowing amounts of support. "I love seeing people tag their friends in the comments or direct message me to say that my drawing helped them or inspired them or simply made them happy. That's been the coolest—to feel like I'm making an impact beyond what I ever could’ve before."
Haley currently has over 307K followers but she's not only posting to Instagram. She's scrolling through it as well. Out of everyone Haley follows herself, she really likes @webcomic_name for a delightfully predictable punchline, @ziwef and @hicaitlinreilly for the laughs, and @chanel_miller for beautiful storytelling. Ugh, I had to go to the store for a few things and it seemed like 1 out of every 4 people weren't wearing a mask right! Let me remind you that it was Christmas Eve and they still can't have the decency to wear a piece of damn cloth in a crowded store. Do these people really care if they get others sick or if they get sick themselves! They're are just selfish I guess.

Also they keep you warmer in the winter, block bad smells outdoors and indoors, they set a good example, signal to people that you take public health seriously, and they look nice. Also they stop people from telling you to smile! They aren’t miracles though, so people still have to distance.

I actually kind of *enjoy* wearing a mask. It makes me feel safe and I know I'm being responsible and doing a good thing, plus you can do what I did and make a fashion statement out of it by wearing one with a funny slogan or a picture on it! (Mine has a big pair of red lips and says "NO KISS!").

me with the virus and legally not needing to remain in quarantine.... goes to a Trump speech thing without a facemask, gives everyone there the virus >:) P.S. this is a joke, i didnt actually do it, but i actually have the coronavirus and im quarantined at my home even tho i dont legally need to. Yes, the quarantine system is legit weird.

I always like how Harry (Potter) says that the dementors make him feel like he'll never be happy again. That's EXACTLY how depression makes me feel. It takes a lot of work from my rational mind to remind myself that it's not true.

This is why I don't use social media any more. I get depressed because other people have such amazing lives and I don't. I forget that what they post are only the amazing parts and I don't see the bad parts that they have too.

Or, if you can, don't attend the party in the first place! You probably won't irritate your friends because of it. It's pointless to go to a party if you know you won't have fun.

TBH, found this to be rather trite and lacking understanding. Seems to me most applicable for bad days, down moods, and short situational depression - but if you have a life of persistent depression, trauma, are bipolar 2, or BPD this does not apply except on your Best days. Anyone that says one "should just do" is trivializing the struggle, and means you aren't listening (probably because you are uncomfortable with their emotions). Never "should" a person, rather ask "is there a way I can help" if you are Honesly inclined.

If it doesn't string the right chord with you it does not mean that the art is bad, it is just not made for you. You will find something else that suits you better! <3
