I Spent Months Photographing White And Siamese Kittens Available For Adoption

Kitten season is out of control in Los Angeles this year and all the shelters and rescues are beyond full. There has been an unusual amount of white and Siamese kittens so I focused on them.

I feel like shelter cats can be overlooked or dismissed as lesser than purebreds so I wanted to show there are a ton of gorgeous cats and kittens available for adoption. By photographing the kittens against a black background, I hoped to draw attention to their facial expressions and their beauty and to showcase their individual personalities.
