Like sidewalks and billboards, people living in the 21st century read signs as second nature. It’s such a common way of conveying information, that we often absorb the information without really paying attention. But sometimes one may encounter a particularly creepy graphic or set of words that creates an implication dark enough to immediately draw your attention.

There was a horrible incident at the Pittsburgh Zoo where a woman sat her 2 year old boy on the railing above the enclosure for the African painted dogs. He fell and they ate him before anyone could help. Don't look it up if you're squeamish. 😥

Several members of two Dutch families with small kids died in France. They were canoeing on a small river and the dads thought it was too calm, too boring. When they encountered a weir of a a joining river, they came up with the brilliant idea to be the cool dads and spice things up a bit. They carried the canoes up the joining river and went down the weir. They got caught in the wave depicted and several did not make it out.

It's NOT stray voltage it's static charge. Electricity is moving through the lines making a static charge, like fast moving marbles in a hose... it's not the marbles.

I replaced our roof this past summer with steel. I was VERY careful around the service line feeding the house as it was only 3 feet off the peak. Guys helping me made fun of me...don't care.

I live on a lake that never completely freezes over. The geese keep a hole open in the middle for themselves. It's been really cold here for the last 2 weeks, but never enough to close up that hole. And yet some idiot thought it would be a good idea to take his 2 little kids out there to play. 😮 The police were called and they tried to convince him to get off - while the 2 kids were running and jumping around. He told them no, and then walked back across the lake dragging a sled with the kids following along. 🙄 Seriously unbelievable, but I guess it's not against the law to be stupid?? I would think it counted as child neglect, but apparently they couldn't arrest him. Moron.
