I've been on The Sky At Night twice. No-one refers to Uranus as "the green planet".
Agreed. I have a couple of hundred books on astronomy and have watched nearly every 'Sky at Night' programme (so I've probably seen you without knowing) along with so many non-fiction space/astronomy programmes on TV, and I have NEVER seen or heard Uranus referred to as the 'green' planet. EDIT: Multa Nocte, way to miss the point. Yes, Uranus has a blue-green colour - that is not in doubt - but unlike Mars (the Red Planet) and Earth (the Blue Planet), Uranus is not commonly referred to as the Green Planet as per the question.
Load More Replies...#28: well, it's Greenland's *current* flag, but if a certain orange quasi-díctator gets his way.....
