I’m A Primary School Teacher And I Illustrate My Teaching Experience In Comics (31 Pics)
So what goes on on a typical day as a primary school teacher you may ask? Well, thanks to me we may have the answers!
I am a primary school teacher from Galway, Ireland. By day, I have the fun task of educating the next generation of kids... by night... I'm an artist! Having a particular interest in animation and cartooning, I decided to combine the two things I'm most passionate about - teaching and drawing - and these are the results!
I draw on moments from the school nativity play, lunchtime struggles and general life working as a teacher.

Most don't get a summer break.. they have summer jobs to make ends meet and then go back to the grind...
I know this too well... our teacher expected us also just to KNOW which page we were on...
Your first two years working in an elementary school will be tough, but you'll build an immune system hard as a rock.
My parents are teachers, they would bring home about 20 every june, and then sell them (usually to kids parents) at the end of may the next year...
I am a university professor... I relate too much to this.... I shouldn't.... but still I identify.
That's why I buy Dunkin donut gift cards, they want the stuff that goes in the mugs
Nope! The worst is when they ' make you a card' ( fold a piece of paper in half) and write ' your the best teecher' .... other incorrect spellings of teacher are available! And they don't see the irony!
This teared me up! I have got truckloads of paper, tucked here and there.

Nope no present at our school, never, ever, ever. A mug would be nice!

All of my kid students ALWAYS point out that my hair is blue, every day :).
Add parent teacher conferences, class parties, and field trips, and you will know why teachers age quickly!
When i was in kindergarden, there was this substitute teacher who we called 'the tooth fairy' (i literally cant remember her real name) bevause whenever she came, one of the children would lose a tooth and no one knew why :)
Those are great. Looking simple (but hard to draw, I know that) and the eyes are very expressive. Keep it up!

I now play darts against my old maths teacher from 15 years ago,I'm so glad he retired his maths is terrible
Absolutely True, definitely feel to heart, even though I’m a student myself.
Have you ever been taught the facts of life by a 5 year old? Here they are. Mummy lays an egg in her tummy. Daddy fertilizes it and 9 months later you get a baby. Fast forward a week or 2. The room is silent. (Unbelievable but true.) A voice pierces the silence. The only thing I don't get is what fertilizer does dad use, Maxicrop or Seasol (2 different kinds of fertilizer) and how does he did it in there?
Really good and it's exactly like that even with young adults in my English classes!!! Keep them coming!

Kudos to the Kindergarten and 1st grade elementary teachers who had to play the role of second Mom/Dad in school.
