While some illustrations are very clear in what they portray, sometimes such drawings can become a little bit too "on the nose." The works of authors like avogado6 are more poetic and enigmatic than that, and they make their viewer pause a little bit and reflect.
And even though they're united under a rigid pastel anime style, the topics are diverse and moods shift from blues to creepy and cruel. But no matter the topic, they have a certain melancholic and existential atmosphere that makes it hard to mistake his work for someone else's.

I felt sad for the young man one. While everyone grew old and died peacefully , he took his own life, probably he had nothing. Same here, but that's because real people suck. I'd prefer Kakashi, Bakugou, Kirishima, Hide (Tokyo Ghoul), or Xiao (Genshin Impact) than any guy I've even met in my life. You get to see their pasts, their secrets, their cute quirks that they only reveal when no-one is around, their complete personality, their soft sides, their ulterior motives... Real guys hide all that stuff and when you do meet a lovely guy, some other woman in his past traumatized the poor man and then he doesn't want to be with another woman in case she hurts him like the last one did... Like, dude, I just wanna love you, not hurt you... Also, there are more cute fictional Tsunderes and sweethearts than real-life people.

When I'm out of college, I am going to apply for a civilian position in the military. When I heard about how sad the society over there is, I immediately started wishing I could help them while fulfilling a dream of mine (as an asthmatic, I can't directly join up). I always loved helping people, spending time with some of the lonelier ones could very well help them. Plus, I've never been outside the US, so three birds with one stone! Help people, travel and be (at least officially associated) with the military!
Wish they put the creators descriptions of each picture in here or at least the titles because idk what is happening in some of these
