I had a very minor website back in the late 90s called The Inexplicable Object of the Week. It got a Yahoo Pick of the Day, and Week, and Month, and YEAR. So someone stole the whole thing, word for word and image after image, and reposted it on their page. A page with almost nothing else on it. Didn't take long for the guy to get caught. "His" version disappeared soon after.

Terry Crews is a cool guy. I never understood the appeal of autographs. I get it famous people should expect extra attention and recognition from the public and fans because of their fame. That being said as a member of the public and fan, I could not bring myself to disturb someone I didn’t know. Many celebrities do signings or will send you one upon request. No need to barge in and mess with someone’s time with family and friends.

Supreme court ruled that the person claiming must also be defrauding the government by trying to get benefits (may count for trying to get discounts too, not sure). -signed, an actual veteran

Wife, daughter, and my (3 yrs older than me) niece and I went to a restaurant. Had twofers on drinks, daughter got hers done and I hear "Ewwwww". a wad of gum stuck inside on the bottom of glass. Call waitress over, she takes the glass and disappears with a confused look. Manager comes back with glass and says,"I'd like to check this out".."fine, looks like it went through the sanitation step with that in there". Comes back, drinks are free, meals are comped 50%, he agreed that's what happened and says he had to check to ensure we weren't trying a scam. "I get it"

I'm pretty picky with music and don't tend to listen to certain bands, just individual songs if I like them, but I have mulitple AJR songs on my playlist (Bang, Way Less Sad, Sober Up, Weak, Burn the House Down, 100 Bad Days). I think that's the most of any one band outside of certain musicals, it takes a lot to get me to listen to new songs.

I had a neighbor who was quite bright, but was convinced Anton Levay (sp?) was the Antichrist and wanted me to take him to Boston (because I’m from Massachusetts) (the northwestern side near Vermont and New Hampshire) so he could do away with the guy. I got curious and looked into it and discovered the CoS is entirely the opposite of what people think it is. They stand up to lousy, rotten, miserable, hated-filled people and apparently use the CoS name because it’s the opposite of “Christian.” Needless to say (I hope!) I didn’t take him to Boston.
