If anyone is interested in an explanation, here's the one by Kie723 on the original Reddit post. "Red rainbows happen when the sun is on the horizon. They’re created for much the same reason that a sunset or sunrise looks red. When the sun is low, its blue and green light is weakened by scattering during the long journey to your eyes through Earth’s atmosphere. The red light travels through more directly. In 1945 a nuclear bomb was tested at the trinity site in White Sands New Mexico, US. In 1947 aliens landed in Nearby Roswell New Mexico as a response to seeing the explosion. The aliens and alien technologies are being housed at area 51 in the Nevada desert. They don’t have a cool looking McDonalds there tho.

Krieger, the creator of the “Nonstandard McDonald’s” Twitter, told Vox: “I was just surprised at how hard it was to find photo evidence of these weird McDonald’s that I had been to a couple of times, including the so-called Mayor McCheese mansion in Independence, Ohio.”
According to him, “One thing you figure out very quickly is that most of these places are no longer operating. They’re defunct.” Vox explains that many of these offbeat McDonald’s were pilot restaurants for culinary concepts that were eventually abandoned by the corporate mothership, such as “McDiners” which served classic greasy spoon fare.

Necessary where building codes mandate a minimum clear walking width, but also mandate the installation of fire extinguishers. The alternative is putting a regular fire extinguisher into an alcove, which likely isn't possible due to the concrete block wall.

There’s also small bottles of jalapeño pepper sauce that someone would use on their food. It was a pretty gross green color like this. I worked in a hospital and we always said it looked like something that came out of an NG tube. ( tube that goes in through your nose and down into your stomach so we are able to suck your stomach contents into a container.) I know it’s gross. But those of us in the health profession can have a gross sense of humour. I’ll go now and bring back a big supply of brain bleach. 🧠🪣

Yellow fire extinguishers are typically sodium chloride extinguishers, for putting off class-D fires on combustible metals (sodium, magnesium, lithium etc). Very old yellow extinguishers may be halon-based, and are illegal to own and use practically everywhere outside of very specific conditions in industrial and aerospace businesses, because they have an enormous impact on the ozone layer.

A number of people have purchased retired school busses to convert them into RVs. Given that this one has had its stop sign removed, that's also a possibility. In that case it's actually required by law to paint the bus a different color so drivers won't think it's being used as a school bus.

"Shiny" doesn't actually mean it shines. Its a term from Pokemon to describe rare and different colored Pokemon you'd see out in the wild. In this article, shiny refers to buildings, vehicles, or other things that don't conform to the traditionally accepted designs.

Pretty interesting why this is green: This particular cap is called a green hawk. The different color helps to separate where pallets start and stop inside of the soda truck. They usually have one staked for each row, though not always on the same level. At least that's what I was told at some point, I've never personally seen someone ad hoc.

Whilst some of these are creative, no-one should muck about with the warning/health and safety signs, particularly on the road. If they're not as expected in the Highway Code, they are confusing and potential dangerous. They are coloured that way for a reason, including visibility.
