Artist Recreates Famous Paintings Using Money As Her Canvas

Maybe it was an interesting exercise in matching or complimenting colour palettes for the artist. For buyers though it's a gimmick and the artist probably recognises that element too. Unfortunately that's the kind of thing people go for. Not cause it has greater quality or meaning to it, but because it's something a little different for the wall. I think the paintings are nicely done to be fair.

Interesting criticism about using money as a canvas. Obviously you have a particular viewpoint on money. Maybe that's reason enough. Maybe she's rich? Maybe idk...

no. Please stop with the "there are people dying of hunger" line. it's cringy. How would using money as a canvas effect homeless people in any way? And plus, even if she didn't use her money for a canvas, i guarantee she wouldn't give it away.

Interesting logic. Now tell me how much it would cost for decent canvas or more generic surface a professional artist would normally paint on. Gimmick or not she is keeping herself in a home.
