It also is very hard to plan / figure out 90ish meals a month. It's exhausting and also a bit excessive. Skipping meals is an option for some of it, but still a bit much.

I went to bed around 7 last night. My partner asked , do you want pizza tonight? I said that's fine. Curled into a ball and woke up at 2am with a hungry cat. And pizza was never ordered either :(

My mom used to say, "it hurts to be beautiful", after taking my hair out of curlers and trying to pull a brush through the tangles. I'm old enough now that I gave myself a buzzcut. But I had to wait until after my mom died. Didn't need the side eye.

And a favorite stove top burner. And many good boxes.

One time my 2 year old nephew said "sh!t" when he dropped something. (He'd heard his mom say it when the cat ran out the door) We didn't know whether to be impressed with him for using it in the right context or worried that he's going to outsmart us all some day.

We were never close with our cousins (they were all older and lived at least 2 hours away) but I did this with my brother and sister and the nextdoor neighbours.

I've got it pretty nice I'd say. I can cook dinner if it involves boiling pasta of some sort, otherwise my partner will do the actual cooking, I just do the chopping/prep. Works out pretty nice for me 😊
