Actually it’s healthy, mentally and emotionally, to cut off people who hurt you and don’t admit, or even recognize, that they did it. Why continually subject yourself to that? F**k that. Hurt me and don’t acknowledge and apologize for it? Then you become persona non grata to me.
Please don't barrage me for this comment, but I absolutely hate people that do this. I care a lot about people and it hurts like hell when they start avoiding you and pull away without telling you what they're thinking. I'm left there wondering what I did to chase off the people I love while these people that refuse to communicate just try to disappear. Obviously this doesn't apply if someone did something absolutely horrendous and refuses to apologize, but it doesn't make you funny or quirky or introverted to do this, it just makes you a terrible friend.

American writer, journalist, and introvert Jonathan Rauch thinks that extroverts are relatively easy for introverts to understand because they spend so much of their time working out who they are in voluble, and frequently inescapable, interaction with other people. Introvert means someone who gets energy from alone time, and can enjoy peaceful quiet time alone. Not depression and self-hate, that's legit mental illness that needs to be addressed by professionals rather than being 'relatable' memes.
