Chinese Artist Creates 20 Pics Of Slothful Animals To Parody How Lazy This Generation Is Becoming
The world is changing and, with it, the habits of the population. The ever increasing presence of the Internet, social media, and powerful Netflix are making this generation into very lazy people.
Inspired by all this, digital illustrator Guodong Zhao from Beijing, China, created this fun and relaxing project titled "Lazy Things." In it we see various lazy animals sitting in comfortable beanbags just being couch potatoes, while at the same time, watching series or playing Video Games.
Each animal drawing required extra attention to detail to get the complex textures just right. To fulfill his drawing ideas, Zhao employed the Pixologic ZBrush, a tool for sculpting, which allows combining modeling, texturing, and 3D painting. The result of that effort is these adorable animals!

There you go the perfect toy for a cat that is really lazy, don't have to use toes/fingers.
These are basically the raccoons in my neighborhood. They slothfully waddle across our our urban front yards at dusk and when we yell at them to "get out of here" they just roll their heads lazily in our direction as if to say, "Whatever, tiny."
All the raccoons in my neighborhood are bigger than my dog!! Although so are some of the rabbits...

how did reading a book make it into her "slothful and lazy" series? Whenever teenagers are watching tv or playing a video game the first thing the older generation always says is how they used to read books instead and how wonderful they are!
Reading isn't lazy! We need more people to read and widen their vocabulary and views of the world! This is a crazy thing to include and goes against everything that others are campaigning for.
he is a hungry sharking playing as a hungry shark in a game called hungry shark
LOL, Maybe we should give all animals bean bag to lay on. This is to funny beyond words.
My boykittie almost all ready looks like that. He’s a food genius.
It's not a flat screen so could be battery powered
Load More Replies...Wow. As a member of Gen Z, this is actually quite damaging to my self esteem.
I did not appreciate the title of this post, I disliked the condescending tone and the false message about "this generation being lazy". Such generalizations are simply wrong. This, like any generation, is studying, working hard, fighting wars, bringing up children, plus much much more than the previous generations. These new kids speak languages, they create their environment with less prejudice, they share and volunteer more than any generation in recent history. They are more flexible towards rapid changes involving the globalized world and they are in touch with their times. They just do their thing their way.
Thank you! Couldn't have said it better myself
Load More Replies...Cute, but pretty much sounds like what everyone has always said about the younger generations. Plus, studies show that older people tend to spend more time on their phones than younger ones and that societal pressure has lead to kids/teens being pushed to do too much in an attempt to get into college to the point where they are more likely to suffer mental breakdowns. NPR did a series on it recently.
Ok, so reading books and newspapers, already declining greatly, yet essential for personal development and awareness of the world around us, is lazy? No, people should read more books and newspapers.
I don't think people are necessarily reading less, they are just not reading hardcopies. Most of us read books, magazines and newspapers online or at least on a device now.
Load More Replies...Damn okay like cool art but more than a bit condescending. Why does everyone hate on Gen Z so much?
