This is an alternative version of a movie poster for an alternative movie in an alternative universe. Having said that, I hope I don’t have to use the word alternative for the rest of this entry. Seriously.

I like movies, and I like movie posters so this only happened naturally. I grew up during 80’s when movies and movie posters were, well, let’s be honest here, they were amazing.

For the longest time I wanted to create a unique movie poster for one of my favorite movies. I started asking my self bunch of questions. Following questions stood out the most:

What if someone else directed Jurassic Park?

What if it was filmed in early 80’s?

What if it was a horror and not a sci fi adventure.?

Completely different film, but it still has Jeff Goldblum in it.

Let’s face it, “Jurassic Park” without Jeff would equal “Terminator” without Arnold. It just wouldn’t work as well as it does.

“Life, Uh, Finds a Way”

After all these Q’s I realized what I wanted to do. Just so happened I’m a CGI artist and I have loads of dinosaur models and renders lying all over my storage disks.I went on and recycled some files from one of my earlier projects, the one for “Cruel Eden” a lovely novel by Tim Haines. And that’s how this fan art came to be. Now that I made it, I would love to see that movie so very much!

What a fun cinematic experience that version of Jurassic Park would be!?

Anyway, hope you liked the art and all the questions it draws with it.
