Dad’s (Now My) Collection Of Microphone Cozies

He had a very impressive collection of microphone cozies detailing his career displayed prominently in his office. When he moved to a retirement home he culled the collection, these are the ones he held onto. I got them after he passed earlier this year and I just put them up on the shelf.

Does it count as a collection if I handmade everything? I have a steadily growing collection of square bookmarks that I hand painted with acrylic paint and a minuscule brush. They’re all of album covers of artists I like. https://i.ibb.co/9H2...jp/IMG-1774.jpg
A lot of this stresses me out to look at, all I can think of is the dusting and how much room it takes up.
I used to have a salt & pepper shakers collection. All destroyed in a flood. I no longer have collections. It was sad to lose them but also nice to have less clutter.
I like to collect model horses, porcelain collies, and dollhouses. My parents and grandmother made me feel like I was a complete weirdo for having more than one of anything. If I already had a model horse when I was younger, they would refuse to buy me another, even for Christmas or my birthday. I finally got old enough to save my babysitting money and my mom took me to a store to pick out a horse. I ended up with 2 mares and 2 foals and my mom ruined my moment by telling me the cashier probably thought we were crazy for buying so many. I cried every time I looked at those horses for a long time.
Our local County Fair has several collections every year in one of their exhibition buildings, but rarely anything as extensive as these.
