I’m Running Backwards A Lot, Not Because I’m Crazy, But Instead To Raise Awareness For Epilepsy
I’m training to run the 2018 Boston Marathon backwards and break the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon run backwards (yes, that actually exists and the current record is pretty fast – 3 hours, 43 minutes and 39 seconds). I lost my brother Brian to epilepsy when he was seven years old, so I’m running backwards in Brian’s memory and to raise money and awareness for people and families living with epilepsy, a severely underfunded disorder. My goal is to raise $100,000. Support me by visiting bostonbackwards.com and also to see more of me running backwards (if you’re into that sort of thing).

Share on Facebookok while that is great, I do not see how that raises awareness for anything other than backwards runners.
honestly, you're just doing this for selfish attention.....no greater cause.
Good for him! I never knew her, but I had a great aunt that had Epilepsy and since it was in the early 20th century her family didn't know what to do. Sadly she died in a sanitarium. We share the same middle name so I think of her when I hear epilepsy stories.
Good luck to him. It doesn't matter if it's a bit mad. What counts is he has had a vision on how he can raise awareness. And is seeing it through. We need more people talking about awareness as every little helps. Go on lad have fun and I hope u get a good following.
That makes sense... ME watching the Boston marathon*: What is wrong with that guy running backwards? spectator: He is raising awareness ME: Over epilepsy I asume, it just makes sense. another spectator: ooooooh, I get it!
