I'm a photographer and visual imaging artist from Cyberjaya, Malaysia. I've been experimenting with new styles of expressing myself during the pandemic. I decided to give local delicacies a try because I believe that even the most mundane things in life can be viewed in a different light and can be made into awe-inspiring works of art.
Feast your eyes on what's truly Malaysian.

Nasi Lemak Village
No, that's not how nasi lemak looks like. Nasi lemak consists of white rice cooked in rich coconut milk, sided with chilli paste cooked with anchovies and onions, a boiled egg sliced into halves, fried groundnuts and anchovies, and cucumber sliced into circles without the skin peeled off. That does not look anything like nasi lemak.
Apologies, it's supposed to be Nasi Goreng Kampung, our social media writer got it wrong. Thanks for pointing it out.
