I'm writing a book, and this discussion happened in my head. It's between James (who is overweight), a baker, and his wife, Emily (a talented gardener) James is talking to his daughter, as Emily comes in from the garden.
James: Your mother has green thumb
Emily: And your father has a baker belly
James: *mutters* your mother also has an uncanny ability to insult.
