Almost any Irish movie - The Barrystown trilogy, Intermission - young Colin Farrel and Cillian Murphy, The Guard - Brendan Gleeson is pure joy to watch.
Breakfast at Pluto - still think this is Cillian's best performance.
Some heavier stuff - The Wind that shakes the barley, Calvary, Michael Collins.

Queen, it’s a Hindi movie about a young & naïve Rani who goes on her own honeymoon to Europe after her fiancé leaves her. It’s a pretty decent film and it’s one of the very few Hindi movies that understand the fact that you don’t need to be a chainsmoker, alcoholic, overly h***y woman to be considered a feminist.
Another Hindi movie that I like is called ‘English Vinglish’ and it’s about a married woman Shashi who is made fun of by her family because she can’t speak English but then her niece living in New York invites her to help with her wedding preparations. The rest of the movie is about her learning her own self worth and it’s a rather progressive hindi movie considering the fact that it came out more than 10 years ago

Oh shoot, I forgot the ‘not shot in US’ part for the last one. Well technically the first half was shot in Pune, India but this is a pretty dumb mistake on my end

The French movie, Playtime. 1967. No subtitles, because it's silent, but modern, in color. It's really funny and well done.
