A time that someone just... said something. For whatever reason. They said it and now it's out there and they don't seem even slightly bothered while you are still trying to process the fucked-ness of their words.

Pretty much just called me a b*tch, a ret*rd, a motherf*cker, an @$$hole, an idiot, hmm what else. Probably other things. All I can remember right now.

My mom once casually asked me if the reason I wore a binder and felt dysphoria was because I didn't want to go through puberty Ngl I wanted to smack her but i actually just didn't react for like 5 minutes cause my brain was trying to get past the 'Jesus f*****g christ she just said the to me' stage. It's not nearly the most ttansphobic thing she's said to me but i really wasn't expecting it. It's not that I don't want my body to change, it's that it's changing in a way society views as feminine and that makes me uncomfortable because I am in fact not a girl. I ended up just saying no cause wtf how do I react to that

“Ok but like, do you have a d**k or not?” — random person on the bus I literally said nothing to

At this point you ask them if they're trying to check, usually that works
