Not to bring everybody down but I would quite like to learn how to be happy. Not only that, but also how to resist self harming and suicidal thoughts. Its gotten way outta hand lately and I don't actually know how much longer I can hold on. Sorry again to bring everybody down.

You are not a burden! I know your mental health tells you otherwise, but there are plenty of people who are willing to lift and support. Happy is a temporary feeling, like hunger or sleepy. You cannot maintain happy. What you might be able to do is find something that makes you happy, do that and then think about it when you can't do it. There are loads of tools out there, we just need to find what works each of us. You can do this!

1 This time of year in the northern hemisphere is tough on everybody because we’ve had such little sunlight for so long. The seasonal affective disorder thing is for real. 2. Keep people around you who lift you up; upwards, only higher. I’m not talking about ppl kissing your bottom, I mean people that allow you to love yourself and be yourself. 3. Depression is a heartless liar who wants to hurt you. It lies to you and tells you that you’re worthless and that the world is better off without you and that everything you do is pointless and that your friends don’t love you and that your family doesn’t love you and that everything you do is already being done by somebody else and done better… And it’s all Bull s**t Depression is a liar. Repeat after me… Depression is a liar. Depression lies. This is the most important lesson of all.

Be prepared for the fingertips on your fret hand to hurt so bad you sweat at the thought of touching something with it. Start with finger drills, they're everywhere online. Don't worry about whether or not it's the best one, it doesn't make a bit of difference as long as you find one that works for you and, most importantly, won't drive you insane after doing for the 37,985th time. Because that is the only way to build hand strength AND muscle memory at the same time. Once you've done finger drills for a while (I recommend at least a cumulative 45 minutes to an hour in any 24 hour period, two to five times a week), find the tab for some songs by an artist you really like, and that you don't mind listening to repeatedly, and learn how to play those songs. The more you practice, the more intuitive your playing will become, until something clicks on it's own. It's a rush.

Good job just stating what you want. Being in the moment is a great first step. People that dwell on the past lot have a lot of depression. And people that fix a heavily on what if in the future this happens or that happens are paralyzed with anxiety. But if you focus on what’s happening right now and enjoying yourself right now you can enjoy life in the present. Hello! I’m waving to you right now

Get a large comprehensive book you can read and go back to over and over again (cause you know where things are). Search the internet for supplemental information & Videos with stuff is amazing. Then . . . Just do it - don't be afraid of screwing it up, you will and it will be ugly just like everyone has done.

If you dont' insist on jazz dance try Linedance. It doesn't require a partner and if you stay in the back you can use the time you need. Later it will make it easier to start another kind of dance, if you don't want to stay with linedancing.

Baking is a science, use precise measurement and follow directions exactly. When cooking you can adjust things to taste, not for baking. Also get an accurate thermometer for waking up the yeast.

Try learning an instrument if you're interested in this. Maybe something where you can see success soon. Sure, the beginning can be hard but being able to create something beautiful with your hands, your breath, your feets or your voice is absolutely dope. Maybe also trying out some new sports, maybe something with a team. Could be great to get to know new people and find new friends :)

    1. Learn more about my family history. Fun fact: I'm related to David Boone. In all the history books and even on Google, his wife's name is always written wrong. It is written Rebecca Bryan (her thought-to-be maiden name) Boone, but it is actually Rebecca Bryant Boone, with a T. I am directly related to Bryants, therefore I am related to David Boone. My family has passed this down for years, and literally no book or website or show has ever gotten it right. 2. Learn how to maintain a relationship. I just recently got into one with an amazing guy, and I need to learn how to really maintain a good one, which I think I am doing fairly good at so far. 3. Learn how to overcome my anxiety. It controls my life and I want it to stop. I work on it everyday, and I'm getting better slowly. Baby steps still move us forward!

As a science teacher, I used to tell my students that perhaps the single greatest strength of the human species is the evolutionary imperative we call diversity. In a group of 75 - 150, we have enough differences to strive in just about any situation. If your not good at math or science, don't worry about it. Your evolutionary imperative dictates something else that will benefit a group. The meaning of life? Be yourself and enjoy it!
