I'm starting to write songs so when I grow up I can sing them! (My dream is to become a professional singer.) But I've got writers block! Any song ideas?

I write songs to sing them in the future too! I normally ask my choir teacher and he helps me, but if you can’t do that then try listening to other songs and steal some ideas

I have a really good friend and everyone ships us together because we have loads in common and we talk to each other a lot. I think he likes me a bit, but I have made it quite obvious to everyone I don't like him in that way, so I'm pretty sure he is never gonna ask me out. But the thing is, I have imagined a million times him asking me out, but never what I would say. He is really nice, and really embarrassing and I really like him, but I am not sure in what way. Does it mean I like him if I imagine him asking me out? Or is it just because it's what everyone says will happen? Help me pleaaasseee

If your questioning it, you might just have a strong friendship. Trust me you’ll know when you love someone

Maybe some coming out advice? I've identified as pansexual for a few months now and I kinda want to come out to my parents so I can go overload on pan merchandise but I don't really know what to do. Like my best friend (lesbian and genderfluid) came out to their parents over sushi and they literally just said "Hey, I'm gay" but I know that won't work for me so yeah.

I have seen some stories on other posts where people have accidently left their phone/laptop on the side and the parents have caught a glimpse of it. Depending on what your parents are like is depending on their reaction.

I’ve got my first “date” tomorrow with my crush. It’s really just breakfast at school, and he thinks a friendly hangout. Should I say I like him then? I also think he like me but idk

So basically, I don't know you or that guy but I think that no one looks back on their life and thinks 'Damn I wish I had been less honest with the ppl I care about.' I think that if you tell him you like him, and he says he feels different (which he probably won't), that's it. You can be friends still. And you can ask him not to tell anyone if you are embarrassed of people knowing he said no. But that is the worst that could happen, and if you have a good relationship already, then he will be really nice about staying friends. But I am pretty sure he will say he likes you, and you should go for it.

My missus has been going through the menopause for quite a few years now and when she is grumpy she is really grumpy. The more i try to console her the more grumpy she gets. Shall i just leave her to it or try to console her? She is a good woman when she is not in her mood swings.

I know this sounds quite simple but did you ever ask her what she wants you to do? Of cause menopause is not an illness, but I want to give an example: When I feel sick I don't want to be alone but I don't want to be consoled or touched either. This is something that nobody could guess. I think you should do what she thinks is best for her.

Tell her that you're always there for her, find out her triggers and try to reduce them. If she's willing to do that, go to therapy with her, maybe she's afraid to get help alone.
