I collect various mugs. If I find a coffee mug at the store that is cool or interesting, it's probably coming home with me. So now I ask you, what is the odd thing that you collect? If you are curious, I have a collection of over 30 mugs.

Little Golden Books
Thank you I enjoy them very much. Everyone who sees them gets such a nostalgic look in their eyes.
Load More Replies...That's exactly why I started collecting them because they were such a big part of my childhood
Load More Replies...No, it's not weird but not many people collect them
Load More Replies...Muskegon Museum of Art has an exhibit of Little Golden Books artwork thru April 30. (Muskegon, Michigan, USA) https://muskegonartmuseum.org/exhibition/golden-legacy/
I always wanted to go to this exhibit
Load More Replies...Although I do have to admit, I paid quite a bit for three dolls that included uncut paper doll books, which buy themselves, or at least $200 in my collectors guide.
Load More Replies...Thank you I'm quite proud of it
Load More Replies...Antique Doorknobs. This Is Only A Small Part Of My Collection. These Ones Are On Copper Wire With Seed Beads!
That's an awesome way to show these off 😍 I sometimes make suncatchers like this, I'm wondering if I have any vintage door knobs suitable in the garage ☺️
I love old doorknobs, but never know what to do them (other than put them on doors)
Gin - Here Is My Gin Cabinet
I do not drink, but some of the bottles of various liquors are really well designed!
Shows how much we (humans) appreciate our favorite poisons. Tobacco-related product packaging has also had pretty nice designs, especially in the past, and so did various historical vessels and implements for drug use ;)

FYI. Alebrijes are whimsical carvings depicting animals, people, objects, and imaginary creatures painted with intense colors and intricate patterns.
I've got one of those! In the shape of a horse. I collect pretty much anything related to horses.
Sugar Packs. From Nearly 30 Years Of Travelling
Sugar packets from different regions of the world are interesting. There are more different designs than I would have imagined. Cool collection.
Stickers That I Put In My Wallet
It says 100%, but 1000% works too 🤣

These Little Japanese Erasers (Am Trying To Convince My Mother To Let Me Also Collect Cats)
Sorry, but it has been proven that cats are of no good when used as erasers
They can do a good job of erasing butter while you're not looking!
Load More Replies...Stolen Teaspoons. 😅🙈
I stole a fork from my first airplane flight. Still have it. Fortunately, it never turned into a habit.
Third from the left. I bought those last year after trying for years to find more spoons to match ones missing from my nice set. I like these just as much as the others and here you go, sneaking into my house, nabbing them.
They're in my kitchen. 😅 So.... 🤷🏻♀️
Load More Replies...Bookplates Or Presentation Plates
Thank you. There are a few more but I rushed the collage! My late Mother's is the one with three talbot dogs, mine is the psychadelic one to the right, Dad got the prize from Sunday School and 'Great Aunt' Nina is Helena Hall, she had an earlier, more religious one which I think she designed while at school/collage, it's dated 1900 and she died when I was little in the late 1960's.
Load More Replies...Mostly, yes. Some are very old, and this is only a sample I cobled together when I realised I could post something! I also have the original artwork for two of them and uncut etchings for the Helena Hall one, probably printed by Gordon Gill, brother of the now rather disgraced Eric, but, yes they are usually glued into a book, and while I only have a few, there are serious collectors who may steam them off, or buy and sell/swap loose ones?

I Collect Bread Bag Tags
HORG. There's a whole website dedicated to the taxonomic categorization of these, called HORG. Surgeons use the database to help identify the shape of bread clips when little kids swallow them so they can remove them with as little damage as possible!🥹
That is very interesting information. Thank you. 🙋
Load More Replies...I usually replace them, too. But I have made a lampshade out of the tags I've collected!
Load More Replies...Colorful, easy to collect, easy to store and I can use them in craft projects, too. Here's my lampshade. edited-ima...400b59.jpg
I Collect Jurassic Park Memorabilia. I Still Have The Hat I Wore Opening Night 30 Years Ago
I see a monopoly in the the left corner. Wanna explain that? But the rest is very cool
I didn't know there was a Jurassic Park Monopoly. I suspect your collection will become very valuable in the future.
Reborn Baby Dolls. This Is Ruby, Created By Artist Patricia Straub Of Alberta Born Babies. I Had 6 Miscarriages. My Reborns Help Me With That
I glad they make you feel better in dealing with your loss. Someone downvoted you I don't know why so I'll give you an upvote
Thanks Julie. Some people are creeped out by all dolls. I get it with evil dolls in movies, but I sure can't find anything creepy in that sweet little baby face in my photo. I adore my reborns. It is very therapeutic and calming to hold them... just like with a support animal but a lot less trouble, ha!

I had my own library too, over 1000 books but ran out of room and sold 90% of them. With the proceeds I purchased many more books......face palms after reading what I just wrote and realizing I'm an idiotic addict
well i am myself an author as well hence i need to surround myself with as many books as possible. so this is a cute lil pretext for having an addiction :D

Huh, I ordered from Doc Martin and all I got was a strange, cranky physician.
Its an addictive hobby, I love my Docs - lost count of how many pairs I have, and I think I may have about 10 different Doc bags . . . .
Collecting Snow Globes - This Is A Part Of My Collection
A nice idea. I can't help wondering if there is a Citizen Kane snow globe and if so if you have it in your collection.
There is one, but difficult to get in Germany xD I only got one form outside Europe, from a visit in the US
Load More Replies...I Collect Movie Tie-In Books Particularly Horror Tie-Ins, But Anything Interesting. These Four Books Combined Are Worth @$1000, But My Pride And Joy Is A Novelization Of Clue Because It's Super-Rare And Has A Fourth Ending
Ty! Its getting a bit out of control now- I'm planning to sell a few of them because I buy books in lots occasionally and have gotten a few doubles.
Load More Replies...Yes! Its more complicated and convoluted than the others, it's not hard to see why they didn't use it. Just like the ending of the movie April Fool's Day, which is very different and complicated than the filmed ending. Audiences didn't appreciate the "prank" ending, but I think they would have walked out on what happened in the book. (It would have also probably added a lot to the budget to get it on film). This is one of the main reasons why I love these books..it's like getting MORE movie. Or letting you see what's going on in Jason Voorhees mind. Or getting more of a characters background. I wasn't allowed to see these movies as a kid but I was allowed to read just about anything; I could read the novelization of a movie and get the gist of it in my head.

Ya! I have the same collection. 163,000 of them, all in .bmp format, 1920 x 1080, and carefully labelled. (Mostly antique and classic). My screen saver. (OCDC has its advantages.)
Yeah, as far as the picture goes, you should be glad that you will never pwn one. As a Swede, I have driven Volvos a lot in my life. But they are kind of bad. If you want a premium car (Volvo has pretended to compete with Mercedes, BMW and Audi since the 90's in my country), just buy a premium car.
Monster Cans. I Think I Have At Least 90 (Not My Image)

Reborns start at about $150 and go up to $10,000+. Each is one of a kind, handmade by an artist, and considered works of art.
