My wife looked out over this valley when we were looking at this house and said, “Oh, I'm getting all emotional,” to which I replied, “Oh, we'd better buy it then.” She died less than a year ago, but this view still brings me some comfort that she loved it for seven years.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Ace. That's a beautiful picture and I'm glad you have something like that to remember your wife by. I hope you're doing okay. From what I've seen with my mum losing my dad, the firsts of everything are the worst.

    ooh, this looks beautiful. I just started with making book nook. So much tiny stuff (presents for the Christmas Tree and other stuff) to make. So delicate, and tiring for my eyes, but I love it. Right now I'm making a Christmas station with a train, hopefully it will be as beautiful as your creation. Thanks for showing

    I make beaded tapestries from tiny seed beads. Adding 1 bead at a time is very relaxing and comforting after a long day.
