I Made Mini Bookcase With What Was Lying Around (Ice Cream Sticks, Etc.)
Thanks ! It takes less time than it looks
Load More Replies...I haven't necessarily written very well, but it's only books (or series of books) that I really appreciate
Load More Replies...Man, I wish *I* was creative and imaginative. Your stuff is not only well done and beautiful, but pretty much tells stories just with their appearance.
Oh thank you ! It's a comment that touches me (I'm not sure if this expression is also used in English?)
Load More Replies...Thanks ! Yes, you should, it's not very complicated and it looks good on a real bookshelf
Load More Replies...There is one ! I "reduced" the series to a single book, so I could put several series that I like
Load More Replies...I LOVE THIS!!! You should sell these I would love to buy one! You could even personalize for people with specific titles!
It is an idea. I would have to find a more efficient working method for that. I'll think about it.

Love the colors. How from t shirts? Would think they are too stretchy. Did you back them with something like interfacing?
WOW SO COOL AND RESOURCEFUL I. LOVE IT!! Can imagine how nice the texture is as well
Great way to use up clothing you shouldn’t donate! Need to look this project up.

Writing A Novel
I'd read this book based on the names of the chapters alone.
Well, I seriously doubt it could be published, because I'm playing with other people's intellectual property. Also, recently, I've thought about how people tend to do things like leave bodies unrecovered or undisturbed from shipwrecks, because mucking about with them would be disrespectful. I'm wondering if I'm being similarly disrespectful by in effect exploiting the deaths of those poor detectives for a silly story. At any rate, I hope to post it on sites like FanFiction.net or 'Archive of Our Own' after a bit more polishing, and after AO3 gets their DDOS attack dealt with. Look for Paradocs, by 'Gilliam MacLuir' (or 'Gilliam_MacLuir).
Load More Replies...'Paradocs'. Doc Savage and his team join forces with Doctor Who at the 1939 NY World's Fair to fight the Master.
Load More Replies...Long ago, I was reading some old Doc Savage pulp novels. 'The Secret in the Sky' was a good yarn with an unsatisfying reveal at the end. I didn't buy who they tried to pass off as the Big Bad. Decades later, I read James Mauro's 'Twilight at the World of Tomorrow', a non-fiction look at the 1939 New York World's Fair. It mentioned the forgotten fact that there was an unsolved terrorist bombing at the Fair that killed two NYPD cops and injured several others. I finally had the thought that these could be merged into one story, glued together by adding Doctor Who. So I wrote 'Paradocs', with Doc Savage and The Doctor teaming up at the '39 Fair to fight The Master. Took 14 months. Doing the research and trying to fit incompatible pieces together was a lot of fun!
Tell you what - in anyone wants to read this, send an email to NWolfwood at C*x.net and I'll send the current draft.
That '*' is supposed to be an 'o'.
Load More Replies...I started a novel about 10 year's ago, have about 28 chapters , but hit writers block often then put it aside till the ideas come back.
Yeah, I had some bleak dead spots. If you don't mind me asking, what's your's about?
Load More Replies...You could blend in the word Raid or mission into the chapter names and make it episodes of Rat patrol! The Derelict Raid! The Master Raid! The Ambush Raid! The Raid Aftermath! The Soul searching Raid! The Shed Raid! You get the idea.
Heh. I remember watching Rat Patrol, back in the '60s. Good times... But Rat Patrol doesn't really have much to do with the World's Fair, Doc Savage, or Doctor Who. Anyway, the chapter titles were just because using only numbers seemed kinda ... 'empty'. And somehow I got the idea that there should be a unifying gimmick on the titles. Some of them are kinda lame.

Thank you. This was an intellectual exercise to try and provide a more satisfying conclusion to 'Secret in the Sky', and to offer a (ridiculous, fictional) explanation for the real bombing. It was also an experiment to see if *could* actually write a book - I've never done that before. If people have a bit of fun reading it, and maybe even learn a factoid or two about history, I'll be happy. As long as the judgement is that it doesn't stink up the joint. Meshing the worlds of Doc Savage and The Doctor - plus keeping it faithful to real history - was an exercise. LOTS of footnotes and references to help readers not familiar with the material.

Load More Replies...Oh God, another rabbit hole to go down! I have been itching to learn stained glass but some of the fused glass I looked up really makes me want to figure out fused glass, as well. I bought some small pieces of stuff like this in Venice too many years ago and never knew what it was called. Gorgeous! Thanks Auntriarch!

Was this shot *through* the surface, i.e. against the side of a glass container, or from the top?
From the top. I used a dinner plate, but I have used glass candle holders in the past and shot from the side.

Thank You. Supposed to be the flower, stem and leaves wrapping around the box but, I noticed that I had not put anything on the back of the box so, I put a cute cloud there. I love this it's adorable, but I just wanted to point out that it's "dessert" "not "desert". The difference is the number of "s" s. There is one "s" in desert (as in, sand dunes and cacti), and you can remember this because it's lonely in the desert. There is two "s"s in dessert (as in sweet food after dinner), and you can remember because you share dessert with other people. Again, love the doll house!
