He was under some bushes to the left (out of the shot.) I sat there for an hour watching animals come and go from the watering hole when another 4x4 showed up with a bunch of cameras and film equipment mounted on the doorless passenger side. He said “looks like they haven’t moved much since I was here yesterday.” I had no idea what he was talking about until he repositioned his vehicle to aim his cameras underneath the shady bushes. After another hour or so the two male lions got up, stretched, and went walking away from the watering hole toward another cluster of bushes. What a clueless wildlife watcher I was!!
