Bonus: my bush dweller cat likes to sit under it and just chill while looking at the great outdoors. P.S. I know they're not good for cats, but this Monstera is growing in my bedroom where cats are allowed with supervision only. Most of my plants grow there.
My Mother Of Millions- Grows Babies On Her Leaves
My very first plant. My mom let me grow one of the babies of my own. I was about 5 years old. I gave some of my babies to my friends over 60 years ago. I was hooked ever since.
This Year I Decided To Grow Tomatoes Instead Of Flowers On My Balcony. Turned Out Great! I Think I'll Keep This Idea And Grow More Edible Goodies Next Year
LOL! I tried that when I lived in Hawaii on the second floor. They were just plant with no bloosoms when somebody climbed up there and stole them all I believe they thought they were something whacky...
Ha, ha. When I lived in Scotland there was a large article in the paper how the police burst into a house because of the quantity of "weed" openly growing. 10 days later the police has to admit they had stolen the lady's tomatoes plants.

Visit friends who grown plants, decide which you like and research on how to take cuttings. Of course you have to explain that you know how to take a cutting without damaging the plant and then you can grow loads with only minimal cost, plant pots (charity shops) and some decent soil.
Load More Replies...Thank you 😁 My lovely boyfriend made them for me 🥰

Ficus Benjamina, the "Weeping" fig. Native to India, loves humidity and heat, hates being moved or rotated. Will drop all of its leaves if you change its position, and will then re-grow new ones to better align to the new light source.

First Time Repotting This Monster Phalaenopsis In 18 Years - Will Be Splitting It Into 3
I've been having good results with the 'marked-down' orchids from our supermarket (they've just finished blooming, or it's after Mother's Day, etc.) The only real cost is a pot, since they're just in their clear plastic inner pots. For growing medium I use Spanish Moss from the Dollar Store (not dyed or treated) - it lets the roots breathe.
Aloe Plant
Found this aloe plant over ten years ago dying on a store shelf. Gave it lots of love and transplanted it a bunch of times. Soon enough it turned in to this green monster.
What a beauty! I had an aloe plant once, but it died quickly. I guess I did something wrong with it.

Diffenbachia Not Looking Dumb At All
The "dumb" in "dumb cane" comes from the toxic sap, which numbs the mouth and tongue of any mammal which tries to eat the plant. Hence, rendering the animal "dumb", which originally meant "unable to speak".
