    So kind of you to take care of your uncle's little bird! Is it a canary? A friend of mine kept one 30 years ago in a tiny cage. I asked why he wouldn't let him fly or at least give him a larger cage to fly. He said, they would stop their beautiful twitter. Is this true?

    Yes, it's a canary! Boys sing, but the girls don't. Most of the time I let her cage open, so she can fly whenever she wants.

    You are so kind! Please, more people like you, on this planet! Same with my falcon: found after a rain, left him sitting until I saw crows picking on him, brought him inside and realized it was still a baby and injured - raised him and with professional help was able to release him again into freedom. Such a rewarding experience!

    Yeah I feel so bad for her now. She doesn't have any other flock I would adopt her but that's probably not allowed
