Scented Spring
Yes. Just out. The perfume is very strong.

I Don't If This Counts As A Garden, But These Are Some Of The Plants I Have On My Flat Roof!
It counts as a garden! If nature doesn't come to your roof, you bring it. I'm a great believer in guerrilla gardening.
Had to google "guerrilla gardening" and yes, I believe in it too XD
Load More Replies...Of course it's a garden! And not only that, it's YOUR garden! Looks like it's coming right along at that, too. Good job!
of course it counts! You water and nurture it… it's your garden.

We Have A Acre It’s Very Pretty But It’s A Lot Of Work
I love it and I love - dearly love - all the trees, but as time goes on, you might find it a bit more...convenient? ergonomic? aesthetically pleasing? - to transplant some of the "loose trees" over to the sides where the other trees are (and the sooner, the easier). It will not only free up a bit more literally free space (making it hella easier to mow and tend to) but trees growing together seem to do better than "lone ranger" trees. (TL;DR: trees like company and open areas are easier to mow/tend to). Regardless, you have a gorgeous space there!
Absolutely beautiful! Enjoy every minute while you have the health & time & strenth. I feel like it’s PA or NJ, am I right?
Norway, Starting To Turn Green, But We Need Some Rain!
Ah, yes, this is pretty much what my yard looks like, but we don't even have leaves on the trees yet.

The building in the background is where we crush our grapes. The vines are over 100 yrs old, they were planted by Nuns , our home was a convent built in the 1600s. It’s not the prettiest part of our garden but I love the feeling of tranquility whenever I am here.
I love the "edible history" part - that sense of continuity must feel amazing! Love how thick those old vines are. You're so lucky!

He is! My neighbour has been putting up that same Santa every year since he's moved in and that damn thing is staring directly into the kitchen window. Wholesome but also kinda creepy.

I would totally be panning for gold back down there! I mean, I probably wouldn't find anything but water creatures (hope water snakes aren't a problem or little scorpions like you find in moist Appalachian-type mountain terrain???) but yeah, I'd totally be panning for gold.

We spent the last... well two years now completely overhauling what yard we have (it's not tiny but with neighbors who have a property 2-3 times as large it sometimes feels small) and we are finally finishing the "building" portion of the yard, but we couldn't find a landscaper to actually do plants! (Bricks, mulch, etc. sure but no planting) so we have been slowly buying and planting ourselves. We are not greenthumbs but it's finally filling in and starting to look good. Oh, I forgot to mention that it started with removing all the grass!
