I've seen all the movies a few times, but so far, the only book I've read was "The Hobbit". That's how I became a fan of the stories. I was going through a difficult time & my daughter was assigned to read that book for school. I read it about 3 times over, but always stopped right before the end & then started reading all over again from the beginning. It really helped me through my depression. When I gave the book back, it was all I could do not to take over my daughter's school project about it! She had to make a diorama about the story.
My favourite part was when the dwarves escaped from the wood-elves.
