It's not polish "Pyzy", it's "Zeppelin/Cepelinai/Kartacze(grapeshots)", not only from Lithuania, also Russia and, mainly from where I know them, from east Poland, cheers!
Cepelinai- My favourite! Meet filled potatoes with bacon and sour cream topping

Load More Replies...Switzerland created the "fondue" in 18th century. The "official" receipt is the "Fribourgeoise" one. So yes, definitively: Switzerland
My first contact with the Swiss. Poland. 1988. Youth hostel in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. Back then the smell was terrible to me, but now I really like fondue.

You'll Eat It Only, If You Don't Know What Exactly It Is
I've had almost every part of the animal except the testicles. Fried brain in a flour batter is delicious, the tongue eminently edible, liver is great, kidneys I don't like because often there are hard bits in them, the hart and lungs perfectly palatable. So, I don't know what this dish is but it looks to have some brain.
I can beat that, I've eaten the testicles too! Perfectly edible. I thought brains a bit mushy but everything else is good.
Load More Replies...Offal I do not like the bits of the animal that look like they should never be eaten.
I feel like it's called "offal" because it literally looks awful.
Load More Replies...Hint: It's From A Mediterranean Country!

Yep! The actual name is "boerenkool", or, literally translated to English; "Farmers kale". It's very cheap and easy to make, so it was perfect for farmers who didn't have as much money as other citizens. :)
Load More Replies...Hamburgers!
there's a variety of hamburger you can get in serbia, i forget what it's called. But it's basically the same thing, just wider and flatter, with cream cheese.
It's with sour cream and it's a called pljeskavica
Load More Replies...Hint: We Eat It Just Once A Year On A Special Tuesday
That looks like a terrible attempt on a semla. Also, we kind of are supposed to eat them only this one day, but they are available and eaten for months
Who the f**k cuts it like that?! At least in Finland it's cut pretty much in the middle, not like this. We call it Laskiaispulla. There's a lot of debate if there should be almond paste or strawberry jam as a filling (+ the whipped cream ofc) but I'm a rebel and use sea buckthorn berry jam as my filling of choice.
Well, for it to be a semla you need to use almond. But the last 5-10 years the bakeries have tried to invent new varieties every year to get into the news papers.

These are litterally one of the best thing I have ever had. We rarely have theese though since it's mosty used as funeral food but it is sooooooo good. I have been craving this for some time now!
Voileipäkakku in Finland. These are very common, and I know at least one person who won't go to a party if they don't have a voileipäkakku there.
The Code: Paprika
Is this dish supposed to be extremely salty or is it just our canned goulash in Sweden that is? Our canned goulash is so salty that it is unmanageable.
A Not So Educated Guess

Took This Shot On A Business Trip Some Years Back. One Of The Best Meals I Had While There. The Sides Will Likely Give It Away.in That Country.
