ALSO I do actually read what people recommend- I've actually been on here for the past hour trying to thank someone for one that I enjoyed.

To the person who recommended 'Caraval' to me, whoever and wherever you are (I CANT find the comment thread for some reason), I just read it and it was amazing and I'm definitely reading the second book too when I can! Also, please let me know, mysterious recommender, if you see this, so I know that my mission of thanking you has been completed.

I love Caraval!!! Amazing read!!!
Here are some of my recommendations:
All the Sarah J. Maas books. I recommend starting with Throne of Glass, then to A Court Of Thorns And Roses, then Crescent City (do it this way because she builds up details about the Fae in them, and it eases you in).
Soul of the Blade by Brenda J. Pierson
The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu
Graceling by Kristin Cashore

Not entirely sure if this is your style, but the Keeper of the Lost Cities series is my go-to recommendation when people ask. The 9th book just came out November, and the 10th is supposedly coming out next fall, although the release of the 9th book got postponed a year due to COVID.

Fitzphie fan for life! Though the 9th book kinda changed my mind... now I'm just confused about what I want. Bo and Ro fan for life, then!

I would look at it before just reading it, because it can be pretty gruesome or just not to some people’s likings, but I absolutely love the Deadly Class graphic novels. It takes place in the 1980s and follows a homeless boy named Marcus who gets excepted/dragged into a high school where all the worlds biggest crime leaders send their kids for them to learn how to kill.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman. It’s an LGBTQ graphic novel series.

Mitch Albom

The Brontë sisters

Ron Chernow

David Javerbaum

Philippa Gregory

Jung Cham

I have plenty more on my tablet :-)
