I have never read it but I am intrigued. But from the preview yes. The scene in the preview feels relatable EDIT: yes yes it dies. I read it and yes. I am actually bilingual and yes the trying to connect words with color is confusing. I still speak both though. ( I was born in Spain) let me add that I don’t see the same colors for words that the main character does.
