Not all MIL's are awefull! I have a great one and I try to be the best I can for my DIL's. Tell me your good stories.

Me and my MIL never really got along very well. When I first met her she said I looked like a ****ing Nazi and didn't want me around. Years later. Two children later and my MIL is in a nursing home. I make her a homemade supper several times a week. I help move family into an apartment right next to the nursing home so my wife can see her mom with out having to worry about the weather or driving. One evening after we had a family supper together with my MIL, the wife was getting the kids cleaned up in the bathroom. My MIL leans over the table and asks me to come closer she wants to tell me something. I'm prepared to get an ear full because she has never really cared for me. She told me that she loves me and that I treat her better than her own son. I cried. I gave her a hug and cried. I miss my MIL. She passed a few years ago but I'm so glad we were able to get close
