My wife found something in a similar vein... we have a 4ft tall, massive (and ungodly heavy) red marble vase that sits in the center of our dining room table. She has to get on a ladder to change out her seasonal arrangement that she keeps in it. Picked it up for like $20.

Some people just don’t know or care what they have. We always have a twice yearly large item garbage pickup where we live and people go around finding their own treasures. One man’s trash, as they say. This year my husband, an audiophile, found speakers he says he can resell for $800, on the side of the road. He’s found other stereo equipment in the past and even a decent guitar.

I work with fully grown adults (50+) who would do harm to her to get that jacket. They are Disney fanatics and collect/hoard anything Disney. If/when she decides to get rid of it, she should try to sell it online first. She may make some money, especially if she can flog it on some kind of Disney fanatic website. Also, leave her alone! She's quirky, and quirky is very cool. My daughter is a cosplayer, and has regularly gone to the store dressed like an elf. She's a beautiful elf, and I love watching uptight people have mini myocardial infarctions because a young adult elf is buying avocados lol. I love that she is quirky, nerdy, and creative. It takes courage to be quirky. (Is your gf Nikova Solace? I'm sure that you love your gf's quirkiness and probably tease her. Someone will pop on here soon and chastise you for making fun of her 🙄)

In addition ,we used to keep water in clay containers different in size we call them " olla and zeer " our ancestors used them along their life as their ancestors,I think Egyptian use pottery since Pharaohs era. In addition we have clay pots for cooking rice in oven called " bram ",we also have " taagen" for cooking in oven.

My Golden Moccamaster Coffeemaker. Its Original Design Is From 1968, And This Machine Is Regarded As The Best Coffeemaker By Many. Every Single Part Can Be Replaced And Are Still Available In Specialist Shops And Produced In The Netherlands (Where I Live). I Found Mine For Only €5 Because Some Parts Were Missing, No Problem There Then :-) I Absolutely Love It!
