We’ve surely all come across a meme that captures exactly what it feels like to be us. That’s kind of the whole point of memes. They spread because they’re relatable, because someone, somewhere, paired the right image with the right words to express the exact thing you didn’t know how to say. And that’s a small but real reminder: whatever you’re feeling, you’re probably not the only one.
That’s where pages like “Girly” come in. Between the retail therapy chaos and the who-viewed-my-story spirals, the page has built a following by making women feel a little less alone in their everyday quirks and frustrations.
But you don’t have to have identified with any of the “girl” labels thrown around these days to find something here that lands. Some things, like overthinking, exhaustion, and laughing so you don’t cry, don’t really belong to one group. They’re just what it feels like to be tired, human, and online.

Come on, we've been meeting on a regular basis for almost 30 years, you should have learnt the way by now
"You should smile more" id never actually heard a man say that to me and thought it was kind of a joke about the stuff men say in general. Yesterday as soon as I sit down on a workout bench a guy who was watching me said "are you done" I said "you just watched me sit down?" He said "youre so pretty you should smile more." And I truly was thrown off by the exchange so I said (the truth) "wait, what? My nickname is "smiley" like 6 people called me that walking in here? I just dont want to smile at you because you make me uncomfortable. So i guess its personal?" I didnt mean for it to sound THAT mean but hopefully he doesnt say it to anyone else
when I was young, we recorded a full tape with one song. Making sure the gaps were the same that in the end we did not have to FF too much to turn the tape over! Let alone rewind...
Another thing us women do is look back at our old selfs and regret the things we believed and said about ourselves. The way we pick apart our looks, our bodies in pictures then see those pictures sometime later and realize "omg I was super hot all along! Look at me on those skates in 1986 d**n!"
OMG me too! It sounded hilarious until I said it aloud and everyone went silent for a momeny
🙋🙋🙋 10000% I feel like I have so much happiness and positivity hidden somewhere deep but life just won't let me enjoy it
For some of us the powers only return when we are angry; very, very, angry.
I love the kind of woman Elle represents. True to herself, no apologies.
One of those days where youre afraid to speak to anyone bc you truly fear if you open your mouth to speak-youll cry.
I get this with my kids a lot. I remember one day my daughter's were playing in the younger one's crib. I put a blanket over the crib, so they could pretend it was a fort. They were giggling and goofing around. Making animal noises to "scare" me. I remember having the thought "please God don't let me ever forget this moment"
The curse of my life. And of course, you only notice just how bad the outfit s***s when you need to leave in 5mins.
I love how a solid 90% of the time you tell a woman her hair looks good she responds "I washed it!"
"why don't you just shift some of the interest from your trust account into your current account?" Seriously, Caroline?
For me it's the opposite, I find it more enjoyable to spend/order/buy stuff than yk.... opening packages and enjoying said items 😂
My problem is that the stuff I like doesn't work with my body and vice versa
It's awful when the homeless person with their sign puts their sign down after they get a look at your car as you drive past.
Me: "OMG, look at all the colors!" Also me: *orders it in black...again*
🎶 I'm just an old fashioned girl with an old fashioned mind, not sophisticated, just the plain and simple kind 🎶
Unfortunately, we're halfway through 2026 and it's beginning to look suspiciously like the tree on the left again.
I have to be restrained in the presence of a display of nail polish, I don't even wear it that often, there's just something about a multitude colours arrayed in all their glory...
"93 Funny Posts About What Being A Woman Is Really Like". As per usual, BP's header/title is way off. This time: Thank Isis!
Bottled out less than half way through. This is a list of ways to belittle women by attempting 'cute'.
