Slice-of-life artist Bella Maris from Belgium is a gifted creator on social media. She enjoys creating witty comics about the difficulties women face in life and amusing situations. Over 117k fans of the artist adore her sense of humor. With that being said, we adore her artwork too, and this time we want to highlight some of her newest comics.

Just like last time, Bored Panda reached out to Bella with some new questions! First, we asked the artist if perhaps she had any upcoming series of works we should be looking forward to.
“Since I got pregnant and became a mom, I’ve been very inspired by all the new experiences I have as a new mom. Some moments are wholesome and some are challenging. Throughout the years, I share my story as a woman through my comics and now I’m planning to share this new chapter of my life with my audience. I have visualized all the ideas in my head, all I need to do is draw them into comics. I hope my audience will enjoy them once I put them out!”
I love Halloween so much that I've had a recurring dream about it everyday this past week. I haven't celebrated Halloween in a long time and this year will be the first time since 6 years:)
Me! I can't remember my passwords or my PINs but I can recall perfectly every cringe worthy event in my entire life. Knowing I'm not the only one is absolutely no help.

I don't think this is accurate or that the artist is old enough. Once you pass 50 or 60 you don't really care about stuff like that anymore
I remember when I accidentaly stole a gummy bracelet... when I was 4. Now I'm 24. It still haunts me
Even though I passed my driving test yesterday... I still got haunted by how indifferent myself with others. I made simple mistakes tho... 😨😰 I was frickin nervous and couldn't do perfect. While pre-test my scores are perfect except I made 1 mistake. On the real test, I remember and fix my mistake and did it again and again xD. More safety! Yesterday... truly my lucky day. TvT I got a good spot for side parking test! There are a lot of people failed at 2nd spot cuz of the straight yellow line. Oof. But there are actually a tip. Their teacher might not taught them. Welp. But my teacher did. 😜🤪😝

Over the years, Bella has created a lot of comics, therefore, we couldn't help but ask if the artist had a favorite one.
“The most recent one would be the comic about my interest in true crime and murder stories told by Bailey Sarian. Not long after I posted it, she left a comment for me and I was over the moon!”
The artist's style is quite colorful and fun to look at, however, for each artist, finding their own style is a journey of its own as you try new things along the way.
“As someone who spent years to find the art style that I finally feel comfortable with, I’d like to try and convert my comics into animation. It would be a nice addition to my platform!”
When my cousin was 15, she asked for clothes. The family were worried they'd get her stuff she didn't like. She told everyone to go buy the ugliest thing they could find, and she'd love it. Very smart young woman.
We also asked if Bella could perhaps share some advice with those of you who might be thinking of starting to make comics as well.
“Just enjoy it! When I first started, I didn’t focus on anything but having fun with it. It is the best motivation for me to keep creating because I can have fun doing what I love and other people can enjoy reading them as well.”
Yep. Sleep wrong for one night and my back complains for several days.
Each artist creates for a reason, and Bella is no different as she told us what she hopes to accomplish with her work, “All I want is to put a smile on someone’s face when they read my comics. I’m happy if I could make them feel seen and they can relate to my stories. With that being said, I’d like to publish my own comic books someday!”
I'm a human and I have a similar reaction. It's why if I ever own a house, it will NOT have carpet. Brooms are so much quieter.
Oh yeah my parent's dogs could tell when it was dinner time within 10 minutes or so. However the shift from summer to winter time or the reverse, the would be knocked completely off rail.
Being a popular artist on Instagram, we have no doubt that Bella has received a lot of comments over the years, so we asked her if she had one that particularly stood out to her, and here's what she said, “I cherish all of the feedback I get from my audience. The positive comments encourage me to keep creating and the constructive ones help me improve and aim to do better with my work.
The special ones that give me an extra boost are from the artists or people that I look up to who are kind enough to leave me comments or even just like my posts.”
yep a lot of makeup only makes matters worse by clogging up the pores so the skin cannot "breathe" which will make it irritated and infected.
Lastly, we wanted to know if the artist had any other hobbies besides making art, and Bella was more than happy to share a little bit more about herself and her interests.
“I love cooking and going for a walk with my dog and now also with my baby. I also love makeup so whenever I have some time off, I put my makeup on, cook something delicious and take my babies out for a walk.”
YES. but my dog isn't that obedient. He'll just shake them all off and never stay still haha
Wait, she gets periods so regularly that she notices a single day's delay?
I know that when my parents got married, my mum's mum was super fussy and said that there needed to be an equal number of guests on her side and on my dad's side. My dad's side of the family is huge so in the end she got frustrated and ended up inviting her friends who my parents didn't even know very well!
The "I will eat it slowly to really enjoy it... How is it already gone? I just took two bites!" type.
Not everyone will identify with this. Who cares. Something may speak to me that other people hate. Mean commenters go away and let people have some joy.
I am a guy. I found these comics to be great. BP did an absolutely terrible job with this title. Put blame in the right place...
