My wife and I put on the dress and the suit that we wore for our wedding, then went out bowling, for drinks, and then to supper. The company that catered our wonderful wedding also has a restaurant in a nearby small town. So we went to enjoy a meal at their restaurant.
This was a much better idea than to leave them hanging in a closet to collect dust. We plan to do this annually as a way to celebrate. It also gives us the motivation to stay in shape so we can still fit into our fancy attire.
My wife was not a fan of the idea of spending large sums of money on a dress she would only wear once. Or “trash the dress” photo shoots seemed like a waste.
I absolutely love the idea. It was so much fun to go enjoy our anniversary all dressed up.
