Sick Of Getting Hit On By Creepy Bar Dudes This Girl Starts Giving Friend’s Number, He Destroys Them One By One

The fake number is a classic escape technique that girls use on creepy guys they meet all the time, but in some cases, it can backfire. They might try to stalk you on social media or harass your friends and situations can escalate. One girl’s guy friend gave her a different solution.

He offered his own cell number up as tribute to the cause and received a wave of creepy messages. Well as some people do when the person on the other line doesn’t know who they are texting, he decided to use the opportunity to troll these guys. Scroll down below to see the text message exchanges between these guys and “the girl” from the bar.

I am happy to go alone into most pubs in my small town centre - just to socialise or for a change of scenery, I either know the staff or at least some of the customers. One place in particular, they know me well and would always look out for me so know I am safe - guy who was semi-stalking me is banned from even going in. Would not however go into a club or large strange pub alone.

Sad thing is, this friend is entertained by it, while us women have to deal with it all the time and are terrified of the nasties coming out.....like they're entitled to something, just because they bestowed their eyes upon us. Ladies, 1/3rd of all women killed in the U.S. are killed by their boyfriends, husbands or male acquaintances. Don't be a statistic. Be ready.

I had a work meeting in a conference room next to a popular bar in a Seattle hotel. During our break the pay phone n the wall rang so I answered. It was a guy who was trying to call some girl he met there on Saturday night. I wish I had been as cleaver as this guy.

Well! We all should have a man friend like this! If a woman approached a guy in a bar, and after a while asked for his phone number, he’d think she couldn’t get a date, and or she was easy . No means no, even when asking for a phone number.

This is cool and funny. Just out of curiosity, I would love some stats on the guys who she gave the number to who eventually weren’t d***s when they texted. Like, how many of them are just d***s through and through (and we see their texts here) and how many of them are just awkward guys that haven’t figured out how to navigate the whole meeting women thing (resulting in getting the number, but who don’t act like complete dickheads when confronted via text).

I think it would be stronger for this girl to develop the ability not to give her number to guys she doesn't like. The word is "no" and she needs to find strength in it. Its funny she is punishing creeps, but I think its more of a step to have boundaries. Good on her friend for trying to help.

This all seems so passive aggressive. First, the girls should learn to say no to men asking for her number. When will women learn this? She's in a bar. People are there to meet each other. There's the occasional creep but this many that harass for a number? I'm calling BS. I can't stand women like this. She probably brags about how many creepy men are after her to this guy friend. He trolls them in some kind of faux gallantry to win her over. He should be upfront the minute they text him that it's a wrong number.

Nope sorry. I guess you never got hit at bars. These creeps have been around for ages. Way before mobile phones, it was so much easier back in the day. They never knew until much later. Sometimes though you would run into the same jerk and they would harass you about the wrong number you gave them.

Be ready.

When a pushy guy won't give up, I give them my EX-boyfriend's number. Pushy guy hears a man at what he thinks is my house, and EX thinks I am REALLY popular for all the calls asking for me. Win - Win!

It's truly sad that this sort of thing even needs to be done. (Kids need to learn basic consent in, like, kindergarten. 'Is it okay to hug you?' 'No.' 'Okay, sorry') That said... kudos to this guy for freaking out these creepy guys.

I had a work meeting in a conference room next to a popular bar in a Seattle hotel. During our break the pay phone n the wall rang so I answered. It was a guy who was trying to call some girl he met there on Saturday night. I wish I had been as cleaver as this guy.

A friend of mine gives them the number of the help line Suicide Watch. Seeing as they answer the phones there, sending them a text wont go very far.

I had a friend that used to do this for the single girls he knew. He was former military and didn't like how creepy guys would treat them. He'd even go so far as to set up meeting times with the guys and when his ripped self would show up instead..they got the idea that they'd F***ed up.

I just tell them no, politely at first. After that, if they still persist I walk away and join my friends. I never go to the clubs alone so I know my friends will always have my back.

My strategy for unwanted guys is to hand them my EX-boyfriend's number. Pushy guy hears a man answer at what he thinks is my house and EX thinks I am REALLY popular for all the calls asking for me. Win - Win!

Win-win? - when your risking a cross angry "pushy" person coming round your house after you have just made a fool of him. you might be really popular - but you are in trouble

O, I remember the time I was young and hot and guys wouldn’t stop harassing me so I gave a fake number just to get rid of them... yeah, how I don’t miss those times... aging, lack of sleep, having kids and gaining weight sure solved that problem!

What bars does this girl go to. Most of the bars I went to when I was young did not seem to have these kind of creeps. Maybe she should consider a better class of drinking establishments.
