There was a guy like this at a store I used to live near. He was a guard from a private security company that the store contracted with and would sit at the front with a huge hunting knife that was clearly not part of his equipment. The security company did not sanction him carrying it and he ended up getting fired after pulling it on someone. People like this can actually be pretty dangerous and shouldn't be in positions like that.

I can not imagine seeing anything like that where i am from. I assume most is america, really a wild place if you visit a supermarket 🤣

I never get to see any wackiness like this, sadly. Looks like many were taken on Halloween? The wackiest thing I've ever seen somebody purposely do in public was take his pet iguana to Wendy's (US fast food chain - think a slightly better version of McDonald's) and buy it a salad when I was a kid - they used to have great salad bars, no clue if they still do. As a kid I thought it was peak cool... As an adult it's obvs gross and unsanitary, though realistically not much less hygienic than general fast food clientele (it was eating from a bowl at his table, not from the actual salad bar).
