Never seen snowboarders going straight down, but got nearly hit several times by skiers going straight down and not even trying to swerve to avoid collision.

Black slopes at the end of the day: the every ski instructor and coach starting at the top of the mountain racing to the bottom (putting FIS downhill racers to shame) - last one buys first round. Get out of the way - you are just a mogul. (25+ year ski instructor and coach :) )
