These 50 Philosophy Memes Might Either Give You An Existential Crisis Or Solve All Your Problems
Classical philosophers may have been sulking loners lost in their existential musings. But modern philosophers and philosophy students were born in the age of the Internet. The time when nothing makes sense and everything can be turned into a meme.
So, even our biggest existential fears and theories about the meaning of life can be funny. Don't believe me? Check out this selection of funny posts from the Instagram page "philosophy.memes" that, according to its creator, aims to fuel our existential crisis as we fail our thoughts. Memito ergo sum, or whatever Descartes said.

Additionally, BrunoVI, the immigrant workers still get the lowest paying jobs without benefits that most "Americans" consider to be "beneath" them, the job the idiot lost was just cut for profit 's sake.
https://www.history.com/articles/was-jesus-real-historical-evidence "It means that she or he, like 99.99% of the rest of the world at the time, made no impact on the archaeological record." Like me apparently, well so far, I guess.
Yes, all houses matter, but you should still prioritize the one that's on fire.
I'm more on the Indiana Jones side of this picture, which is probably on the other side of the vase
Fun fact: the word gym - gymnasium comes from the greek word that means naked 🤭
The chemist: the glass is full, half full of liquid, half full of gas.
You are welcome to your own opinion. However, if you think I am anything other than fabulous, we will be unable to agree.
We all live in cages, most of us just call them "apartments" (or fill in the more upscale domicile)
Reminds of undergrad physics dept T-shirts one year in the early 90s: "S*x kills. Become a physics major and live forever."
I am childfree, but I wouldn't ever say anything like this to my friends with kids. They have enough stress on their plate. And I wouldn't say it to my fellow 'dependent-less' folk either - cuz it might devastate them to hear something like that if they had wanted children and weren't able to. I don't wish to imply that this meme's message is invalid! The message is precisely one of the reasons I chose to not have children. There are just too many unknowns and this is a subject that requires a little extra compassion.
As a philosophy, major, I really appreciated all of these. I chose law instead of going into teaching on the college level, but I’m pretty happy. I still read philosophy and I still discuss it with my friends.
As far as I know it, Nihilism doesn't mean life means nothing and therefore it's all suffering and b*llsh*t. Nihilism to me means life means nothing, so don't take it too seriously and therefore take joy in what you can while you're still here on this plane of existence. Please come at me. I like philosophy...
The idea in medieval education was that the philosophers would also study theology, economics, politics, science (then called natural philosophy), geography, etc. The priests who founded such schools wanted rulers (yes, mostly lay people) who would be competent in how to bring happiness to their constituents. This was before humanism was just an abbreviation for "secular humanism," but was a fairly unique notion that God wanted what was best for humans as opposed to gods, animals, etc.
They tell you that humans are creatures of reason and that's what makes them human, but in reality, it's our irrationality that makes us human. It is our propensity to look at a situation and then act in a way that is objectively wrong, and with unfortunate frequency, that makes us human. You want rational? You get a rock. A rock will, without fail, always act in the most rational manner. Drop it and it falls. You kick it and it flies. But only a human is going to look over centuries of economic data and come to the conclusion that the other country is going to pay for the tariffs.
But please take comfort in that their perception of you is _nothing_ close to your own life experience. Unless they're your "soulmate", they _don't_ know you. Edit: and probably don't really, and I mean really and truly care.
Does OP mean if Clovis HADN"T been there? He defeated Arians, who argued the Old Testament and the epistles which argue based on it should not be included in the bible, although I think it'd be hard to argue that but for Clovis, Arianism would be universally accepted, merely that it would remain in much the same way Protestantism remains.
That's a really round-about way to all avoid telling your tag that you're currently being teabagged by a 13-year-old going by the name "xXMrMcDoucheswizzleXx78".
